Tracking and Management System (PTMS):
The heart of BLACKBIRD
and of the entire QES software solutions line, is the result of many years of experience
in the pulp and paper industry and robust computer system application development. PTMS is a superior tool
for managing all your pulp and paper business needs, from the mill right through to the
customers site.
PTMS
provides a robust, configurable, easy-to-use system to quickly monitor and manage:
> production and quality,
> inventory, shipping and transportation,
> sales, orders, financial accruals and invoicing.
Version 5 of PTMS provides
multi-product, multi-site capability, which simplifies the task of integrating
new sites into a corporate order fulfillment system, and allows a level of

Q-RTS Real-Time Roll Tracking
Q-RTS
is the complete QES package for your real-time computer based roll tracking needs from the machine
to the wrap line and on to the warehouse. Q-RTS can either be configured to be a
manual entry system or highly automated, depending on the availability of data
from PLC’s and OEM systems.
The system offers multiple workstations for easy user data entry or to
override automated input. Q-RTS ensures quality from the shop floor to the customer
with its specification driven system. Orders and trims are easily imported through our
advanced interfaces to PTMS® Business
Systems and to third party systems.
Integration with the PTMS® Business System ensures
efficient order management, production accounting, inventory tracking,
shipment management, and financial sales information.

Q-BTS Real-Time Bale Tracking
Q-BTS® is a pulp bale tracking
computer software system that
tracks the pulp production through your finishing line – weighing,
quality testing, wrapping, stenciling – ensuring that you are capable of
invoicing for the precise amount of fibre each bale contains. Q-BTS®
provides the tools you require to enhance customer service, improve
product inventory control and reduce information management costs.

QualityCheck:
QualityCheck,
is a multi-site, multi-product tool for product test and data entry.
Originally used in quality control for lab applications, QualityCheck
is one of the most adaptable test entry software solutions on the
market today.
QualityCheck
is a fully configurable software package designed for data entry
and tracking using relational database technology and a robust user
interface.
In
addition to being a multi-site, multi-product test logging system,
QualityCheck is fully Web-Enabled. This allows any individual data
form to be viewed over the Internet using a browser. Collecting

Production Event Tracking, Reporting, and Analysis (PETRA):
The
Production Event Tracking Reporting and Analysis tool was created
by QES to help companies identify and track one of the most precious commodities
in any production environment, lost production time. PETRA will
help to make your production process more efficient by tracking
and identifying the processes in your operations that cause lost
production and quickly allow corrective actions to be taken.

WetLab 5:
This
stand-alone software solution was created to make collecting quality
data in a pulp wetlab easier. Wetlab is a user configurable
software tool
for entering and saving beater data.
As
well as being a useful tool for quality data collection, WetLab
also can be used as an ideal visual aid for presenting your pulp
to potential customers, and even for evaluating your own mill's
historical performance in producing quality pulp for papermaking.
WetLab

Stencil Control:
The
reliability of the Stencil Control module found in PTMS has fuelled
the development of this stand-alone Marsh InkJet printer control
system.
Built
on the solid foundations of the PTMS architecture, Stencil Control
is designed to be
"shrink-wrapped" and compatible with all models of Marsh
LCP printers.
Stencil
Control supports industry standard protocols for easy connectivity
and is designed to be a part of an integrated production system
yet still maintaining it's native functionality.

qBizConnector:
qBizConnector easily connects your PTMS 5 database
with your customers, suppliers and other business partners through a Secure,
Low-Cost, & Configurable electronic document exchange over the Internet

Warehouse Mapper
The Warehouse Mapper tool gives you a graphical window into your
warehouse to help ease the burden of inventory management. Fully
configurable, this software tool provides your people an easy to use method of
tracking and managing the contents of your warehouse on their
computer.
Using ‘drag & drop’ and ‘drill down’ techniques, you can
quickly find inventory units, move them to preconfigured bays, ensure their
quality, check for reservations and order status, assign them to shipments,
and remove from inventory.
The Warehouse Mapper can operate as a stand-alone application or
can be integrated with the PTMS suite.
