Automated Lab Equipment Interfacing Software

Lablink® is an application designed to act as an intermediary between laboratory instrumentation and the lab data management application. It captures the Comm output of RS-232 and RS-422 compatible Laboratory instruments, handles the information in a way that is meaningful to the lab process of the mill, and delivers (transmits) the calculations (result Data) and raw data to a DDE compliant application such as Excel® or QES's QualityCheck®.

LabLink Details

LabLink® processes string based information sent from Instruments by parsing out 1 to n tests from the reading. Once the individual tests are parsed out of the string they are then transmitted to the client application. Each instrument has independently configured communication settings, and each reading from the instrument is individually configured to ‘grab’ specific data within the reading.
